Stored Solar Thermal Energy, we collect and store thermal energy at high temperature for cooking.
Clean Cooking Activities
We aim to solve the global cooking with a truly clean cooking technology. We have developed portable solar thermal storage devices we call Sun Buckets. These cookstoves store solar thermal energy at 300-400C, providing a cooking experience similar to fire. We have conducted field studies and sold units in the US and Haiti. We will soon be shipping units to our partners in Cambodia and Namibia.
Partnership
We believe our technical expertise in portable solar thermal energy could be a valuable asset to the clean cookstove community. We are looking for financial and manufacturing partners, and additional partners for field and adoption in new countries.
