TAL YOUTH UGANDA
Mission
TAL (Think About Life) Youth Uganda is an economic empowerment venture in Akokoro, Apac, northern Uganda, co-founded in 2020 by Makerere University students; Onapa Ambrose, Akurut Sylvia and Ocaye Opio. TAL buys surplus sweet potatoes and turns them into delicious, nutritious doughnuts while employing young youth, especially women.
On top of the bakery project, TAL Youth Uganda strategies to educate and economically empower young people by training them in various handcraft skills to ensure greater independence and engagement, thereby lifting them to their greatest potential.
