Value Plus is a registered proprietorship for-profit company and Asha Bhhomi is a nonprofit NGO. Ramesh Dutta that is myself is the proprietor of Value Plus and Trustee of Asha Bhoomi. Objective is to support and promote sustainability either as a profit making company or as a non-profit NGO depending upon required arrangement that best serves the purpose.For example for the purpose of promoting use of smokeless cookstoves, Value Plus may become a dealer/distributor and Asha Bhoomi provides service of marketing/prospecting/advocacy/promotion.

We wish to substantially increase use of smokeless cookstoves which will be met firstly by utilizing the full installed capacity, secondly by enhancing the capacity and thirdly by promoting new social enterprises by guaranteeing sale.
Partnership
To start with we wish to form a consortium of at least 3 manufacturers ( having certified standard approval) with ValuePlus/Asha bhhomi as an umbrella coordinating agency for low cost but effective marketing/promotion/advocacy by tying up with various outreach NGOs, rural health workers, self-help groups,different village associations, village schools and also by organising events and demonstrations. Funds will be required for these activities partly for meeting capital expenditure and partly variable expenditures (as incentives) linked to actual sale.
We plan to gradually tie up with manufacturers in every state besides contractually engaging at least 5 NGOS and 3 microfinance companies in every state. Simultaneously we will also tie up with at least one technical institute for improvement in design, functionality. cosmetic look and share information with all participating affiliates regarding challenges, solutions, developments and practices.
