Clean Cooking Activities

We work in environmental conservation and climate change as part of our sustainable energy program. We sensitize communities to utilize sustainable energy which is available in their home places such as solar energy, improved wood saving stoves, and biogas. We have managed to achieve community adoption of improved wood saving stoves and solar energy in Butiama and Musoma Districts. These programs seem to be helping women. Some farmers from various groups in villages have learned to make improving wood cooking/saving stoves within the communities. We keep track of reports on stove building, and to date, around 675 improved wood saving stoves have been built.

Partnership

Victoria Farming and Fishing Organization would like to be part of this partnership as an implementer. We are committed to contribute office facilities such as tables, chairs, office buildings, laptops and computers, transport facilities such as motorcycles and motor vehicles for field work. We also support meetings/training venues and human resources.
