WAME & Expo2015
Mission
The aim of the Association is to take advantage of the great opportunity offered by Expo Milano 2015 to:
1) increase worldwide awareness of the scope and consequences of exclusion from modern energy of a large share of the world population;
2) support actions to close the gap between those who have and those who have no access to energy by making projects in this field better know to facilitate their growth and dissemination.

Clean Cooking Activities
As of October 2014 WAME has lauched a Call for "Case Studies on Access to Energy" whose aim is to collect experiences of energy access initiatives and provide a source of references for practitioners in the field. Projects must be either on "Energy access" or on "Energy access and nutrition". One case study per category will be selected and showcased during Expo2015. An additional special award for gender empowerment will also be assigned.
Partnership
WAME would like to partecipate in the partnership as a "Champion". We plan to use our digital platform and networks to promote GACC's goals and activities, and to organize jointly an event on clean cooking during the Expo2015 semester.
