Clean Cooking Activities
Youth Innovation Center (YIC), registration number 3285/05/01/PS/2020, is a for-profit small business enterprise actively working with local and regional partners in Manica province, Mozambique, to address poverty and energy challenges in local communities.
Through utilizing creative, peer-driven, and inclusive business solutions, YIC fosters community-led, livelihood-sustaining projects that empower marginalized groups, particularly women. It envisions itself at the forefront of promoting youth, especially women, in mainstream development by providing them with ideal spaces to flourish and drive community development through their entrepreneurial skills.
Being part of the alliance will offer us a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the distribution of clean cooking solutions and also on our part availing an ideal platform for local players to join in our environmental conservation efforts.
We are involved in training local communities and in the distribution of stoves.
Partnership
Our organization would wish to partner with Clean Cooking Allience in the areas of training local communities on the effective usage of clean cooking solutions and also in the distribution of stoves. Our organization will provide a platform for the Clean Cooking Alliance to disseminate key vital information and also act as local representatives who further push the clean cook stove localization agenda in the communities where we operate.
