Description of Work Unit:
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at CSU offers a curriculum that integrates exceptional classroom learning and in-depth engineering practice. Position Summary:
The Research Scientist I will conduct research in sustainability analysis and algal experimentation. The role includes sustainability modeling of algal systems, development of algal experimental systems, and collaboration with the Principal Investigator at CSU.
Required Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field

Experience in sustainability analysis and algal experimentation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Job Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related field

Experience with sustainability modeling tools

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

Experience in publishing research findings
