Thematic Lead – Energy, Practical Action
About the role
The purpose of the role is to provide innovative and strategic expertise in the field of clean energy services and its market development. Practical Action’s Strategic Intent to 2030 aims to bring about impact at scale that can enable people to have access to clean cooking and productive use of energy. The post-holder will work across our business models of programmes and consultancies to leverage our diverse capacities to bring about change. S/he will integrate gender, climate and digital technologies across our work.
About you
You have a knowledge and working experience in the area of clean cooking, productive use of energy, energy-agriculture nexus, climate adaption. You have an understanding of gender transformative approaches, preferred understanding of market system development approaches. You have proven experience in contributing technical excellence to competitive proposals and ability to effectively represent Practical Action’s work in national and international platforms.
