Jillene Connors Belopolsky

Chief of Staff and Chief External Affairs Officer

Jillene Connors Belopolsky is the Chief of Staff and Chief External Affairs Officer at the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA). She leads the Alliance’s global advocacy, partnerships, and communications, working to position clean cooking as core energy infrastructure within national transition strategies and investment plans across Africa and Asia. Her work connects governments, investors, and development partners to build the finance, policy, and institutional systems needed to make universal access to clean cooking a reality.

With two decades of experience in energy sustainability, strategy, and innovation, Jillene has worked across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Before joining CCA, she helped shape BP’s sustainability strategy and early energy-access initiatives, and later advised corporations and financial institutions on sustainable investment and resilience strategies at Earth Security Group. She previously held roles with The Prince’s Rainforests Project, McKinsey & Company, and The James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. Jillene holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BA in Philosophy and Political Science from Gettysburg College.
