Workshop to Promote eCooking Under Go-Electric Campaign of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India

To promote awareness and a practical understanding of electric cooking, MECS in India, along with Superintending Engineer Electrical Circle, Chandigarh in association with Bureau of energy Efficiency is organizing a day long in-person Workshop on Promotion of Electric Cooking in Chandigarh on 16th February 2024.

The State Designated Agency (SDA), Chandigarh of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), (Electrical Circle, Chandigarh Administration) in partnership with Modern Energy Cooking Services Programme (MECS), through their in-country partner Finovista, is organizing a workshop to promote eCooking under Go-Electric Campaign of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency on February 16, 2024 at CII campus, Sector 31 Chandigarh. The objective of this one-day workshop is to promote eCooking in Chandigarh, mobilize communities and encourage collaborative efforts to address pollution and promote a healthier and more sustainable environment.

On the sidelines of the Workshop on February 16, 2024, an eCooking technology showcase is also organised to showcase and display new and innovative clean cooking products/solutions developed by domestic manufacturers or such clean cooking solutions of imported origin having a potential for mass adoption in India. Participants will be able to first-hand experience the magic of eCooking devices apart from that, an eCooking competition is also being organized among interested participants.
