Clean Cooking Activities
University of Eldoret Department of Forestry and Wood science offer courses in Forest/Biomass energy. We design improved cook stoves, laboratory test them and initiate their adoption for improved socio-economic development. we do research in fuel properties and recommend policy development and implementation which leads to sustainable exploitation of biomass resources for energy provision, reduced indoor air pollution, reduced environmental degradation and adoption of appropriate technologies.
Partnership
Mainly partner in designing, testing, marketing and dissemination of information of improved and clean cook stoves. Carry out capacity building of local artisans to increase production of ICS.
