Association for the Rural Development is a voluntary service organisation formed with the co-operation of dedicated social workers and enthusiastic like minded group with a view to help the helpless poor. The birth of this association is response to the problems of illiteracy, ill health, malnutrition and inadequate medical and educational facilities that were widely prevalent.

Clean Cooking Activities
ARD is working for resettled PVTG's (Yanadi) from Sriharikota Island of Andhra Pradesh. Most of these PVTG families are off-grid communities from clean water, electricity, clean cooking fuels etc. ARD is concerned about these PVTG's empowerment, one component out of ARD core objectives is to provide cleaning cooking technologies, fuel to these families to protect from enormous burden of disease caused by traditional cooking stoves and fire.
Partnership
Partnering with this project would be a great way to support those downtrodden communities for whom we are working from past two decades and we are happy to have collaboration with this project to achieve common goal of both in health promised by the renewed agenda of clean cooking.
