Mission

ALMIGHTY SERVICES PLUS mission is to produce and sell locally environmental friendly charcoal briquettes to offer a sustainable alternative to the traditional unsustainable charcoal in Benin republic and to offer at the same time socially fair and secure jobs to the poor people living in the area of major cities like Cotonou and Porto Novo. We are also involved in the production of efficient and improved cookstoves.

Clean Cooking Activities

ALMIGHTY SERVICES PLUS is a small charcoal briquettes factory which briquettes are made of 100% recycled biomass and agricultural residues like rice husks, coconut shells, peanuts shells, cotton stalks and char-residues. Today our company produces and sells locally over 10 metric tons of environmental friendly briquettes, to offer a sustainable alternative to the traditional charcoal in Benin Republic, and offer at the same time socially fair jobs to underserved people. Our briquettes have a high density, then they have a longer burning time (higher fixed carbon content), they make no sparks (which can cause domestic fires), make no smoke (which cause respiratory diseases in indoor cooking) and come already in a small cut, easy to use size and shape (10cm lenght and 5cm in diameter with a hole)
ALMIGHTY SERVICES PLUS has about 10 restaurants using its briquettes and 25 shops/retailers selling its products, and 10 regular distributors:vendors and reaches in total about 500 end consumers (families and institutional customers). Today, with our monthly sales about 10 tons, we save over 750 tons of wood which is not cut from Benin Republic forests and reduces CO2 emissions for over 1,500 tons per year, and this figures are destined to grow together with our business expansion.
We are also involved in the manufacture of efficient and improved cookstoves, for which we are at prototype and validation stage. We'll start the production in early 2019

Partnership

ALMIGHTY SERVICES PLUS is willing to share its knowledge about charcoal briquettes production, market stimulation, distribution and sales mostly in Africa. Our intend is to participate in events to give presentations about our business model, and disseminate results about our environmental and social impact. We intend also to benefit resources from the Alliance to access tailored mentorship and support funding to facilitate our expansion
