The organization intends to develop a project in producing charcoal and charcoal briquettes from a local tree called prosopis juliflora which have got a subsistence effects to the life of the people, crops and livestock. The tree have widely spread around our region creating a thick bush that inhabits wild animals that destroy farm crops and possesses danger to the life of the people. It also covered the pasturing area and stopping any other canopy cover/vegetation to grow under it thus resulting poor crops yield and livestock production.
Our organization would like to develop a program to turn these wild bush into a decent forest through the process of thinning and pruning the prosopis juliflora tree and utilizing the by product as a raw materials for the production of charcoal and charcoal briquettes.
Our organization is doing all possible ways to look for resources to implement this project and uplift the life of the community who are marginalized and vulnerable.

We require capacity building and incubation to acquire necessary toolkit to successfully implement the project.
