Chispa Stoves

Chispa stoves are produced by Soluciones Apropiadas, a social enterprise committed to improving the quality of life of Guatemalans living in poverty through the provision of accessible, affordable, high‐quality, environmentally and socially sustainable solutions.

In 2016, Soluciones Apropiadas was awarded an Enterprise Marketing Fund (EMF) grant from the Alliance to enhance their marketing activities. They partnered with Habitat for Humanity to display and demonstrate their stoves at 22 Habitat offices in Guatemala. They offer various purchase options through this partnership, such as including a Chispa stove in existing monthly payments to Habitat. Soluciones Apropiadas partnered with Conjunto Publicidad, a Guatemalan marketing and communications agency, to develop their marketing plans and produce their creative materials.
