Venus

Venus is a Dhaka-based company that manufactures and sells a locally designed improved cookstove that uses pellets. In 2016, Venus was awarded an Enterprise Marketing Fund (EMF) grant from the Alliance to enhance their marketing activities. Venus implemented a multi-channel marketing campaign to promote their improved cookstoves, including stove fairs, door-to-door visits, street theatre, cable TV ads, print material distribution, and outdoor branding. Venus partnered with TORU, a capacity-building organization, to develop their marketing plan.
