Commission on the Status of Women Side Event: Unlocking the Agency of Women and Youth as Solution Makers
The sixty-sixth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW66) will take place from 14 to 25 March 2022.
CCA will be hosting a side event, “Unlocking the Agency of Women and Youth as Solution Makers” on March 22, 2022 12pm ET.
While we know that there are specific vulnerabilities that young girls and women face due to climate change, policymakers and sector actors under-utilize their unique experiences, skills, and contributions to sustainable climate solutions. We need to create space for women and girls’ participation and representation throughout all levels of engagement. We must unlock the agency of women and girls as solution makers to sustainable action.
