George Mason University – Speaker Series with Clean Cooking Alliance CEO Dymphna van der Lans

About this Event

No one’s life should be limited by how they cook. Clean cooking transforms lives by improving health, protecting the climate and environment, empowering women, and helping consumers save time and money.

The Clean Cooking Alliance works with a global network of partners to build an inclusive industry that makes clean cooking accessible to the three billion people who live each day without it, with a particular eye toward women and girls, who often spend hours cooking and collecting fuel, and are disproportionately affected.

Bringing business leaders to campus, and to our students specifically, is central to our mission. Our Speaker Series brings social impact and sustainability thought leaders from top-tier companies directly to our students where they discuss the issues facing our world.
