It will also offer a unique opportunity to discuss how gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls can contribute to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda. In this context, ENERGIA, UNDESA and UNIDO are pleased to invite you to the side event “Interlinkages between SDG5 and SDG7: Closing gender data gaps to inform energy decision making” taking place on July 11, 2022 (10:00 – 11:30 am EST | 4:00 – 5:30 pm CEST).
The event will raise awareness on the need of sex disaggregated data and gender statistics for evidence-based decision-making in the energy sector.
