Partner Webinar: Social Impacts M&E Framework
Please join the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (Alliance) on Monday, October 24 at 8:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) for a webinar designed for Alliance new and existing partners. This webinar is part of a series that provides an introduction to the Alliance for new and current partners and an overview of how we work, the benefits of partnership, highlights, upcoming opportunities for partners, and features on specific tools, resources, or engagement activities. In addition, this webinar will help partners use an indicator framework to evaluate and measure the social impacts of their work. Developed in partnership with the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), the social impact M&E framework allows clean cooking partners to measure the meaningful social and economic benefits they create for users, employees, and entrepreneurs in the sector. These benefits include saved time and money, reduced drudgery, access to financial services and formal training, and increased empowerment and agency.
The first 5 minutes of the webinar will familiarize partners with the work of the Alliance. Current partners are encouraged to listen in to learn about new programs, resources, and events that may be of interest.
The next 40 minutes will feature an overview of the social impact M&E framework, background on its value to the sector, and how partners can use it.
The remaining 15 minutes of the webinar will be reserved for Q&A. The Alliance encourages partners to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about effective ways to measure the social impacts of your work and adjust your business model or practices to maximize these effects.
