What are the right policy responses and who should take the lead?
Join this exciting event on Wednesday 9 February (2pm GMT, 3pm CET or 9am EST).
Our Joined-up Action on Air Pollution and Climate Change briefing highlights some of the challenges and solutions to tackle the twin and interconnected threats of climate change and air pollution.
As UNEP’s Inger Andersen wrote in the foreword for The State of Global Air Quality Funding 2021: “It is time governments and all stakeholders in our common future to recognise that action on air pollution is central to making meaningful progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals”.
We look forward to hearing Inger Andersen (Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme) speak at this event. She will be joined by Dr Maria Neira (WHO Director of Public Health and Environment), and a key representative from government leading one of the key global events this year (to be confirmed shortly).
