Webinar: Examining Energy Access Enterprises Serving the Last Mile

About this Event

The Shine Campaign believes in the importance of decentralized clean energy enterprises owned and led by women and local communities. Our community of values-driven donors, funders, investors and advocates need to be accelerating support for these indispensable enterprises.

But, when we looked for information about this vital sector, we found that the research cupboard was bare.

So The Shine Campaign built our own investment pipeline, gathering data on over 100 of these enterprises. We found a robust ecosystem of energy providers servicing the most remote communities in creative ways and through innovative structures and were ready to accept capital investment – almost entirely overlooked by the financial services sector.

Join us at our community convening on 4 February at 9:30 AM EST. Our interactive call entitled “Examining Energy Access Enterprises Serving the Last Mile” will be moderated by Mark Correnti, Shine’s Managing Director, Investments.

This virtual event will feature a conversation about Shine’s research and discussion with representatives of companies that exemplify our values and principles, highlighting initiatives that are community led and owned, helmed by women and others traditionally left out of funding and financing for decentralized renewable energy projects.
