Webinar: Field Studies / Performance, Use, Adoption of Clean Cookstoves & Fuels – India, Kenya, Mexico, Uganda, Vietnam
Tuesday, May 27 at 10:30am Eastern/U.S.
In 2012, the Alliance initiated field studies to evaluate of in-field performance, use, and adoption, as well as the potential for health and environmental benefits of clean cookstoves and fuels. Join this webinar to hear about the results of studies in India, Kenya, Mexico, Uganda, and Vietnam, which focus on technologies with promising laboratory performance but limited field data. The results have implications for the ongoing international standards process. The webinar will also include new methodologies to standardize evaluation of stove usage, metrics to link usage and emissions, and explanations of how to evaluate stove stacking patterns.
Presenters:
Omar Masera and Ilse Ruiz Mercado, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico
Michael Johnson and Charity Garland, Berkeley Air Monitoring Group
