Webinar: Scaling Adoption of Clean Cooking Solutions through Women’s Empowerment
Please join us on Wednesday, June 11th at 10:00 AM Eastern US time (2:00 PM UTC/GMT) for a webinar to showcase the Alliance’s resource guide on how to ensure gender issues are addressed and women are engaged throughout the clean cooking value chain to scale adoption of clean cooking solutions.
Women have a role to play in every segment of the value chain, and their involvement can increase project effectiveness and help scale adoption of products and services, while also impacting their livelihoods. In September 2013, the Alliance released Scaling Adoption of Clean Cooking Solutions through Women’s Empowerment: A Resource Guide, for a wide-variety of sector stakeholders – including practitioners, donors, policymakers, multinational corporations, investors, and academic institutions – to increase their understanding of why women are critical and how to ensure they are included in every value chain segment. The Resource Guide includes an actionable set of lessons and practices that will increase effectiveness in the sector and stimulate replication of mechanisms that can lead to the strongest outcomes.
Join this webinar to learn how to use the Resource Guide and about the best practices and tools outlined within it, including presentations from organizations featured as best practice case studies in the guide.
