GET.invest Finance Catalyst
The GET.invest Finance Catalyst links renewable energy and clean cooking projects and businesses to finance opportunities and vice versa. It targets small- and medium-scale projects and businesses in sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific. The Finance Catalyst is a service of GET.invest, a programme supported by the European Union, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Austria.
Services include advisory support on project and business plan development, project and business structuring , financial modelling and accessing the most suitable type of finance. Advisory is provided on a case-by-case basis, tailored to the very needs of the project, through a team of international, dedicated experts with extensive experience in developing and financing renewable energy and clean cooking projects and businesses. For the clean cooking sector, advisory focuses on household clean cooking business models, covering both technology and fuels. Services are at no cost to the project developer or entrepreneur.
Projects and businesses with strong underlying fundamentals are invited to apply on an ongoing basis, since the programme works with a rolling deadline.
