Alliance Ambassador, Ghanaian Musician Rocky Dawuni, Brings Clean Cooking Awareness to SXSW

As part of his work as an Ambassador for the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, acclaimed Ghanaian international music star Rocky Dawuni spoke and performed on the South by Southwest (SXSW) Social Good stage in Austin, Texas.

During a panel discussion on how innovation and technology are advancing humanity, Rocky talked about the critical role clean cookstoves and fuels are playing in saving lives and improving health around the world. Immediately after the discussion, Rocky played an acoustic set of his world famous Afro roots sounds, including music off his soon-to-be-released album Branches of the Same Tree due out on March 31st.
