Science, Technology and Innovation Forum – Call for Innovations
The Global Innovation Exchange (Exchange) is pleased to announce our partnership with the 1st Annual Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum) to be held at the United Nations in New York on June 6 and 7, 2016. A Call to Action for innovators, scientists, entrepreneurs and sustainability change agents worldwide has been issued to submit their innovations as workable solutions for sustainable development. The purpose of this Call to Action is to help to support solutions by creating networks and communities among people who are developing technological and scientific innovations, those who can support or scale up such innovations, and those who need such innovations in order to implement the SDGs. Innovations should be already delivering solutions to the SDGs, and are welcomed from diverse backgrounds, including women, youth, indigenous peoples, and open collaborative networks.
How to participate:
- Create an account
- Submit your innovation
- Spread the word! Help us find and feature the ingenuity from your country and around the world!
Innovations will be reviewed by a committee of 10 judges and several will be chosen to be highlighted at the STI Forum lunch reception on June 6. Each innovation will also be publicly featured in the Exchange, an online marketplace that connects innovators, funders and experts and democratizes access to the right resources at the right time.
Don't delay! The STI Forum Call to Action open call closes April 30th.
