Transforming the Cookstoves and Fuels Market through Standards and Labels in Haiti
The Alliance, as part of the Global Affairs Canada funded development of The Haiti Action Plan to Transform the Market for Clean Cookstoves and Fuels, commissioned CLASP to assess how Standards and Labeling (S&L) can drive scale and advancement in the Haitian market and to identify appropriate S&L options for the Haitian context. Haiti’s current market and sociopolitical landscape indicate that that market development can be achieved in part through the application of best practice principles from standards and labeling (S&L) programs.
