Commercialization of improved charcoal and fuel wood cookstoves at the household and food micro-entrepreneurs level with a scale of over 18,000 stoves, with the target to be nationwide. Interventions include: research, construction of household and institutional cookstoves in schools and food industry, training and education in cooperation with Department of Health and educational institutions, resettlement areas and among street food vendors; partnership with regional institutions on indoor air quality improvement with Asian Institute of Technology. International network includes: ENERGIA, PCIA, University of Twente, DfID KaR.
Would like to help other countries in stove commercialization especially in Asia-Pacific region in partnership with public-private sector through our Energy for All Partnership supported by Asian Development Bank as the Secretariat. We are excited to share our experiences in commercialization, contribute our skill and knowledge and the number of stoves built and sold and the feedback from users; partner with institutions to continue to improve the cookstove and monitor improvement in indoor air quality with other members.
