Clean Cooking Activities

We have been involved in the clean kitchen sector for 15 years, promoting and building our clean cookstoves model (CETA) in rural homes, however, our financial capacity is very limited in relation to the potential demand for clean cookstoves in the sector Rural in our country, and in this sense we think that being associated with Global Alliance for Clean cookstoves will help us to continue and increase the promotion and adoption of these technologies.

Partnership

At CENADE we consider that clean cookstoves are a solution to the problems of deforestation, desertification and environmental pollution that directly affect human health and climate change. In the Central American region, including Nicaragua, there is a potential demand for around 5 million clean cookstoves, for this reason we believe that being associated with Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, we can contribute significantly in the development of this technology in rural households of the country.
