Clean Cooking Activities
The local Content Act as passed into law in 2010 in Nigeria has really helped indigenous companies participate in the Nigeria oil industry, giving us an in-depth knowledge of the danger of some of these crude oil products to human health. With our vast knowledge, having been in the petroleum industry for over seven years, we find this initiative of clean cookstoves very appealing. The damage that results from the use of fossil fuel by households to cook and generate electricity is one of the major sources of emissions of greenhouse gases. Our interest cannot be to overemphasise, hence we are applying to become implementing partners for effective distribution, manufacturing, and marketing of clean cookstoves.
Partnership
As a company that has some level of experience in the petroleum industry, mostly in terms of fabrication of oil pipes and installation, we find the area of manufacturing and distribution very appealing to our organisation. We believe that standard should not be compromised in any form in this project, so we are saying that we will make sure that we utilise the best form of materials that meets international standard and world best practices. Our staff is highly experienced and will be fully ready to be engage in this project. We will also welcome the partnership of sales of quality petroleum products that pose no threat to humans and our environment. We will contribute our whole experience over the years in the oil and gas industry to ensure that we meet the target of this great initiative by 2020. Chief amongst our clients are: Indorama Eleme Petro Chemicals; Niger Delta Development Commission; Lafarge; Nigerian Agip Oil Company; and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board.
