Clean Cooking Activities
This initiative works to decrease the risk of COPD and respiratory infections for 100 families beneficiaries (about 200 adults and 300 children or young people), construct 100 efficient fuel wood stoves, and plant at least 4,000. forest trees in partnership with the cultivation of coffee. These outcomes will be simultaneously achieved by reducing between 30% and 50% of the use of firewood, which in this case comes from the operation of renovating coffee plantations, a sub-normal product of the coffee production process. In addition, the cost of this crop fertilization will decrease to help increase or maintain the number of individuals floristic on farms, to maintain vitality, recycle and supply of organic nutrients, and mitigate its soil erosion.
Partnership
Cafisur has financial resources to provide co-financing that is intended to make contributions to teaching materials for transfer of concepts, teamwork, and logistical services in order to support our associate producers. The amount would be close to $ 30,000, which will be explained in more detail in the budget.
