CIDI exists to empower the youth, women and children of South Sudan by building their confidence and capacity through an integrated community education programs to achieve sustainable peace and holistic development for the transformation of South Sudanese Society.

Clean Cooking Activities
With the growing global need for green energy ,CIDI's interest is use its potential in humanitarian support to enable thousands of households in conflict affected south Sudan get access to clean cook stoves and fuels.By so doing,many families in displaced persons camps will be able to preserve their environment through reduced carbon emissions,have improved health and above all ,women will be cushioned against gender based violence activities such as rape.They will largely benefit from the energy saving innovations economic wise
Partnership
CIDI plans to distribute already tested energy saving stoves which uses firewood and charcoal, but will work together with Greenwize Technologies to develop and test the simple solar cooking stoves. If the performance of the solar cooking stoves is satisfactory, CIDI will support the women to make their own products and sell to other camp residents thus increasing the number of persons accessing clean cook stoves in the country
