DEFEND INTERNATIONAL (Dl) is an international, non-governmental organization whose mission is to respond to grave violations of human rights and of International Humanitarian Law and to promote peace and democracy through cultural relations and diplomacy.
It has subscribers in every part of the world, with the greatest number in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Clean Cooking Activities
In 2014, we launched a campaign with the aim of raising awareness among women and girls in the MENA region about the dangers of relying on inefficient cookstoves and fuels that has haft a huge impact on human health in the region. The campaign urged communities to adopt clean and efficient stoves and fuels to save not only lives, but also the environment.
Partnership
DI would like to participate in the partnership by (1) supporting any initiatives taken, (2) sharing the lessons learned, and by (3) identifying the challenges that might arise in different regions.
