Clean Cooking Activities

DOCAP is an experienced non-government development organization on improved cookstoves (ICS) program implementation in Barguna district of Bangladesh. The organization has been implementing Improved cook-stoves (ICS) program with Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), Bangladesh since 2015. A strong and skilled staff team performing in the program activities. In the meantime, DOCAP has installed 1845 Improved cook-stoves (ICS) in the district. Through this project, DOCAP has learned lesson on Improved cook-stoves (ICS) program activities from the Project.

Partnership

Development Organization of Coastal Area’s People (DOCAP) has been working in coastal District-Barguna of Bangladesh since 1999. Our main goal is sustainable development approach for vulnerable coastal communities with focus on marginalized social groups. We have targeted deprived coastal communities to mainstream them within local development activities through promoting sustainable livelihoods, building their local community institutions and ensuring social justice and clean energy. DOCAP is motivated and attempting with its limited capacity to bring a positive transformation and sustainable development in coastal area. DOCAP needs further support and rapport building with development organizations at local, national and international level. GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR CLEAN COOKSTOVES has broad areas and experience in energy level. DOCAP is
pleased to find working opportunity with GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR CLEAN COOKSTOVES. We contribute by shared local level experience on energy resources management with GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR CLEAN COOKSTOVES.
