Clean Cooking Activities

DGWX designed a TEG cookstove to help households switch from hazardous use of charcoal, wood and kerosene for household cooking to a safer use of biomass fuel which focuses on sawdust pellets, ethanol and biogas. The use of TEG enables household especially in the rural area to have access to enough electricity to power their small devices while cooking or after cooking. Most of the households on the my community do not have access to electricity .

Partnership

We believe in innovation and constantly looking for simpler and smarter ways to impact our community for a safer environment. We have partnered with CERAD (Centre for Research and Development, The Federal University of Technology, Akure) for research and development works. This will enable us design different technologies that will help us achieve our aim of building a safer environment. We intend to make available innovative products that will replace carbon emission in our every day lives and develop schemes that helps motivate people to embrace a safer lifestyle. This will help us reach as many people and deploy over 500,000 stoves by the end of next year.
