Clean Cooking Activities
EarthSpark formed Enèji Pwòp (Haitian Creole for "Clean Energy") in 2010 in order to expand access to clean energy products. They sell a line of high quality lighting and cooking solutions including solar lights, efficient cookstoves and kerosene cookstoves and have sold 12,000 products to date. They also work on the business and financial solutions needed to expand this access.
They also launched Haiti's first pre-paid microgrid in 2012 are working on introducing clean cooking technologies through a line of energy efficient appliances such as stoves and rice cookers.
Partnership
EarthSpark would like to participate in sharing data and information as well as best practices and learn from new technologies and business models presented by other partners. We would also advocate for the alliance on and local and international level and through social media. We would also be interested in sharing and learning funding opportunities when they arise.
