Clean Cooking Activities

Our primary focus is to build the capacity of smallholder farmers to embrace and use clean energy, such as creating and using bio-gas, beekeeping to save trees from charcoal burning, and producing briquettes from crop residues. We also build capacity and promote the adoption of technology that promotes sustainable agriculture, such as climate smart agronomic practices. We do this through practical training and demonstration. Currently we are at the initial stage of promoting sweet sorghum for ethanol production, animal feeds, and grain.

Partnership

EMEDEN Kenya Farmers would like to partner as distributors of clean cookstoves to our smallholder farmers in addition to building the capacity of these farmers to embrace and use these cookstoves.
