Mission

The Empowerment for Sustainable Livelihood (EFSL) is a NGO established for the purpose of facilitating the development and promotion of small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs), sustainable trade, gender empowerment, environmental management, capacity building and sustainable development in Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).

In pursuit of its mission, EFSL: Assists and supports the improvement of the environment of small and medium scale enterprises in the communities of Sub-Saharan Africa; provides advisory services.

Clean Cooking Activities

Our organization is known as the Empowerment for Sustainable Livelihood (ESFL). It is a registered Non-Governmental organization in Ghana. It has six main objectives, namely to:

1. undertake training and capacity building programmes that would help empower local people economically.
2. provide advisory services for the creation, development and promotion of advocacy, gender empowerment and sustainable development
3. undertake projects and services that would contribute significantly in improving the quality of the environment.
4. engages in massive and vigorous education on deadly but preventable diseases such as AIDS/HIV, Malaria, Guinea Worm and Tuberculosis at the deprived rural communities.
5. champions the course of poverty reduction activities such as assistance in basic technical and vocational skills to both the urban and rural poor, engagement in non-timber forest resource farming activities in the rural areas.
