Clean Cooking Activities
The ERC conducts research on clean cookstove adoption and use in Southern and East Africa. This includes analysing barriers (policy, institutional, technology, end-users etc.), developing recommendations/policies etc.
Partnership
The Energy Research Centre is a multi-disciplinary research centre, based at Africa's leading university. We conduct high quality research on a range of issues relevant to the cookstove sector and have strong partner networks across the developing world. We aim to help manufacturers, distributors and end-users access appropriate energy technology through producing relevant knowledge and influencing decision-makers.
