Energy Scalable, Inc.
Mission
We have one mission - to solve energy poverty. We realize that having four hours of energy access per day does not count as being electrified. We help increase awareness of clean cooking because 3.8 million people die every year from health impacts from kerosene and solid fuels. We are a social impact start-up developing scalable solutions for reliable energy access in developing economies by leveraging innovative financing mechanisms and partnering with local energy businesses and organizations.

Clean Cooking Activities
We are a for-profit social impact start-up founded in 2019 with a mission to solve energy poverty. We enable renewable (solar) energy projects in developing countries and women empowerment is our key focus. Our regional focus lies in the following areas: South-East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Central America. We have a global team of active members from developing nations who have faced similar energy access challenges and are driven towards achieving our mission. By participating in activities pertaining to clean cookstoves and fuels, we promote awareness of the impact of choice of fuel on women's health and well-being. Being a woman-owned enterprise, we support other woman-owned businesses in developing economies and enable their contribution towards building a sustainable economy. We are currently actively pursuing funding opportunities, specifically the Modern Energy Cooking Services Technology Research for International Development (MECS -TRIID) Challenge. We are planning pilot projects in India for testing innovative clean energy technologies and solar electric cookstoves. We intend to partner with local social research organizations and distribution partners in India for implementation of these projects.
Partnership
We intend to promote UN Sustainable Development Goals and specifically, Clean Cooking Alliance by raising awareness of the health and livelihood impacts of clean energy. We know that energy access has a vital role in improving quality of life. We are driven to share stories of those benefiting from our upcoming pilots and field-implementation efforts for clean energy access with the Alliance. We plan to support the Alliance's efforts through digital story-telling, social media, and other multimedia by sharing best practices, tools and resources. We are pursuing funding opportunities for testing clean fuels and developing technical resource guides and e-resources for clean cookstove technologies in local languages of the regions we operate in. Through our research-based efforts, we intend to help support implementation of international standards (ISO) and development of resources advancing clean cookstoves and fuels.
