We have been working in several rural districts of India promoting environment sensitive, yet affordable products. Amongst other such initiatives, adoption of advanced biomass cookstove has been our main area of focus.

FDI's core focus area is to impact rural communities, bringing about rural growth and empowerment through adoption of sensitive technologies and creation of sustainable livelihoods. Our network partners have individual mandates that range from the fields of health and education to poverty alleviation, environment, good governance, micro-enterprises development, agricultural-marketing, alternative livelihoods generation, etc.

Clean Cooking Activities
Our key focus is on alleviating poverty, especially in the states with highest percent of rural population. We tie up with Micro Finance Institutes and large corporate houses to bring them together to run campaigns and promote environment sensitive technologies.
Partnership
Using our network partners and CSR experience, we would like to link the technology providers with rural India using our grassroots reach and help promote and create awareness about benefits of using cleaner cooking devices.
