Clean Cooking Activities

GUK has been implementing different programme on environmental & climate change issues. Climate change impact is a great threat in Bangladesh. Considering these GUK has introduced environment and human health friendly activities in it’s working area. As a part of this effort GUK has been distributing improved cooking stoves to reduce the climate vulnerability.

Traditional cooking stove is not energy efficient, fuel expenditure is high and takes more time. It also creates more smoke that is harmful for human health & environment. Since 2010 GUK with the support of different national & international donor has started improved cooking stoves programme and so far distributed around 7000 stoves among it’s beneficiaries and others through different projects which are mentioned below.

Partnership

Our organization would like to participate in this partnership through creating market, promoting, distributing and selling of improved cook stoves.
Through working with different organizations we already have the knowledge and experience of selling around 7000 cook stoves. We would like to take an opportunity by using our expertise in promoting clean cook stoves.
