Clean Cooking Activities

GemUnique Initiative is a non governmental organisation that is involved in empowering young girls and women. We enlighten the women especially at the grassroot level the benefit of the use of clean cook stove, assembling of the stove for use and safety precautions when using the stove. We have also been involved in the research carried out in Ibadan, "Household Air Pollution and Pregnancy outcome" at the Healthylife for all foundation. Our organisation is also into distribution of fuels at the retail level at a subsidised rate for the women. We also organised workshops and trainings for some association in communities

Partnership

GemUnique Initiative will like to participate in the marketing, training and distribution of clean cookstoves, especially at the grassroots level where most of the women are out of reach. We can contribute by sending a monthly report on progress of our organistion, also organising training for users of the stove.
