Clean Cooking Activities
We are located in one of the richest forested areas in Africa and over 70% of the inhabitants are average or low income people who rely on the forest for survival. This percentage of the population rely on wood as fuel for cooking, heating and even for some cultural ceremonies. more over more than half of the population using wood to cook are women and they stand a high risk of been affected in the long run by the excess heat and smoke. Just to mention, the women do not have equal access to resources like money or land to take care of hospital bills like the men do and etc.
Partnership
We will continue to sensitize our communities, produce programs and to advice on other reliable fuel potentials that are less harmful to health and the environment, we are also willing and ready to act as distributors of the clean cook stoves. We are ready to provide the manpower required for this whole process.
