Mission
Stoves are built in homes of children we provide primary education to. They not only reduce IAP, but also the time spent working to buy, or collecting firewood, allowing the children an education. In Ecuador we recently completed our 1st entire community.

GVI hosts 3,500 volunteers worldwide each year providing significant support to the communities and environments we work in. For a number of years, GVI have been providing fuel efficient stoves within communities hosting our education programs.;GVI run a diverse range of programs including educational programs, healthcare, conservation and rural development. Importantly wherever we work, we believe in a holistic approach and typically conduct a range of activities that complement eachother.

Currently for clean stoves we are working with indigenous and/or marginalized communities in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Ecuador and are looking to initiate similar programs in India, Kenya, South Africa and others.
Partnership
We have the skills and experience of delivering clean cook stove solutions internationally and would be interested in sharing good practice/design and learning more about other solutions. With funding we could rapidly increase our impact.
