Clean Cooking Activities
Disseminate clean cooking devices to the poor women members of SEWA in the 12 states in India and neighbouring countries in South Asia where SEWA works. These devices are provided on installments to make them affordable.
Partnership
Today, the average poor women using a 3 stone stove does not realise the problem she is facing every day. Being a womens organization, SEWA brings wide user perspectives to the table. This includes her perspectives on what she needs, what she can afford, why she would buy, why she would use and other factors that influence the decision to buy and use the clean cook stove viz. social, cultural, economic and religious factors.
