The mission of Green Energy without Borders is to give our time, talents and resources to help the poverty-stricken people of® Ethiopia to become self-sufficient. To empower these people with the knowledge (& opportunity) to work their way out of poverty; to improve their health; and to insure a better future for their children and their communities.

Clean Cooking Activities

We train workers to produce these efficient energy-saving stoves—and the briquettes that they burn—in their local communities in Ethiopia.

They burn a locally-produced fuel source.

These briquettes are made of locally-found charcoal and recycled organic waste, which are formed into a specific briquette shape. These briquettes emit none of the smoke that traditional wood fires create, and burn for four hours.
