Clean Cooking Activities

The organization invests in the innovations of the youth in renewable energy and seeks to support the most vulnerable through awareness creation and capacity building. Basically, through supporting local businesses and enterprise-level innovations cutting across innovations on fuel product design, performance, processing, marketing and distribution or business models our organization forges the future of the youth in sustainability. Further, through development, research and design, we seek to drive disruptive change in renewable technologies and fuels. We are tirelessly involved in the empowerment of the youth step by step, in design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the youth’s efforts and integrating laboratory design with field, user testing assessment and improving manufacturing processes, to reach the goal of high performing technologies. The effectiveness, efficiency and affordability of these cook stoves to the grassroots is vital and that is why market initiatives and partnership for microfinance is a key consideration and a priority activity to make them accessible by the most poor.
Finally, making success stories, publishing and disseminating valuable lessons from research organizations to the sector is required for successful commercialization, capacity building and scaling up (Technology transfer) for new innovations is a priority activity.

Partnership

The youth are the major proponents and key recipient of innovations. Working with the youth, our organization would wish to be part of a partnership that involves the youth in productivity and benefits they long struggles to make it in life. Through this partnership, there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Through our expertise in the environmental field and the professional qualifications of our staff, we would be honored to implement projects, be part of and/or propose innovations, carry out capacity building, research, monitoring and evaluation.
While renewable energy and clean cook stoves specifically is a major field in which the youth are seeking refuge in through their wide range of innovations, various things are not yet known. Our organization will seek to fill the knowledge gaps through inducing the youths in more environment aware innovations and research.
The dynamism of cook stove investments are wide by scope and unless we seek adequate and holism in filling the gaps including studies in project parameters such as like sales of cook stoves, rates of adoption, fuel savings and collection time, and household air pollution; we cannot succeed in saving lives, empowering the youth, women, disabled, improving livelihoods, and protecting the environment. Public awareness, proper use, scaling up of successful project impacts positively on human health. These are within the scope of our organization and we believe go a long way in the success of our common interest.
