Our primary product is GOPT Stove, a multipurpose electric solar cooker that uses a solar system to power a GOPT induction energy-efficient stove. Our desire at GOPT STOVES is to make our product(s) accessible by all irrespective of their income or location. As there are upfront costs, it will be arduous for low-income women to afford them. These women will have the electric cooking solar system installed at their home and then purchase "energy days" using a prepaid or pay-as-you-go mobile payment system. Upon completion of a 36-month contract, the women can take ownership of their systems, receiving a clean cooking electric solar system, which also provides light, charges mobile phone devices and other small electric devices.
Partnership
GOPT Stove is the most cost-effective method of bringing electricity to remote vulnerable communities in the near future. Off-grid renewable energy is a catalyst to transform lives, improving health and meeting other sustainable development goals . We would like to contribute to the partnership by manufacturing more of these stoves with the support of other donors.
